Press Preview K 2025
Think big. Start smart.
World Premiere: The New Smartline
The new all-electric Smartline machine series will make its global debut at K 2025 in Düsseldorf – the official unveiling will take place on the first day of the show. Developed to minimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Smartline offers significantly lower investment, industry-leading energy efficiency, and low-maintenance design – ideal for cost-conscious processors.
At the Bekum booth, the new SBLOW machine type will be presented in live demonstrations several times a day – producing a compact consumer packaging solution suitable for the fast-moving consumer goods market.
Live Demo: Crystal-Clear PET Handle Bottles on the EBLOW 508D
As a technology leader for demanding extrusion blow moulding applications, Bekum will present a live demonstration of crystal-clear PET handle bottles on the all-electric EBLOW 508D.
This double-station machine impresses with its powerful e-Twin-Toggle clamping system (300 kN), high-efficiency drives, and intuitive BC 8.0 control system. The flexible extrusion configuration al-lows processing of both PET and HDPE without conversion – ideal for producing PET handle con-tainers or stackable HDPE canisters up to 12 litres.
In collaboration with NOVAPET, Bekum will demonstrate the production of a 2-liter handled am-phora made from 100% recyclable PET – showcasing the transparency, strength, and design free-dom of this exclusive packaging solution for brand differentiation.
Service First: Expanded Service and Retrofit Capabilities for Non-Bekum Machines
With a strengthened service team based in Siegburg/Bonn and decades of expertise, Bekum is now offering independent service and retrofit solutions – for the first time also for machines from other manufacturers.
This cross-brand concept extends Bekum’s capabilities beyond its own systems, aiming to provide even more reliable and efficient support to customers during ongoing production – regardless of machine origin.
In addition to comprehensive spare parts supply, the offering includes technical services, condition assessments, retrofit packages, and targeted upgrades – including retrofitting non-Bekum machines with Bekum extrusion heads.
One such innovation is the 3BKW55-3 extrusion head with vertical extruders, specifically devel-oped for processing recyclable materials. Also on display at the booth, this head features a flow-optimized geometry and spiral mandrel technology, ensuring excellent melt homogeneity and pre-cise layer distribution. Especially noteworthy is the user-friendly arrangement of mechanical ad-justments for simplified operation.
