Packaging Machines 7-Series
The EBLOW 208, 308 and 408 sizes form a self-contained modular system within the 8-series platform and are available as single-station (S) and double-station (D) machines. The production focus of these exceptionally flexible and compact small blow moulding machines is directed at smaller packaging for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and consumer industries.
The newly developed machines of the 8-series set the benchmark for future extrusion blow moulding machines. With the outstanding, multi-award-winning black and yellow design, Bekum symbolizes the performance and quality of the entire platform. It is characterized by numerous new technologies creating added value.
New machine concept for canisters, IBCs, drums, water tanks and a wide range of technical parts The newly designed XBLOW series includes machine sizes 50, 100, 200 and 300, which are available as single-station machines. The centerpiece is the new patent-pending clamping unit with diagonally arranged tie-bars and a two-stage hybrid-electric clamping drive for clamping forces of 500 – 3.000 kN.
The classic generation of blow-moulding machines, which has repeatedly proven its reliability, and which BEKUM was already making well before the xBLOW series, is available in selected models as an Economic Line. These hydraulic machines are, just like their successors, characterised by a compact design, the latest control system and short dry cycle times. They can be equipped with spiral mandrel extrusion heads and can be combined with technologies such as Co-Extrusion, Multi-Cavity and Tandem Blow in order to produce inexpensive packaging in high volumes.
Bekum's H-series is the most successful product family of blow-moulding machines in America. It is available as a single-station H121S and double-station system H121 and H155. These high-performance machines impress users with their speed, efficiency and flexibility, and are equipped with a large number of user-friendly functions.
While three-dimensional moulded parts are demanding to produce, the Bekum insertion and robot technology allows 3D filler necks and air ducts to be produced economically, with virtually no waste. Minimised non-productive machines times and identical processes in the 1st and 2nd station ensure a high repetition accuracy and the highest possible levels of productivity. A 7-layer spiral mandrel extruder head optimises the distribution of the layer thicknesses, and reduces the use of cost-intensive barrier material to less than 500 g/h. The compact design allows this system to offer advantages such as the small floor space it requires and the centralised article output. Furthermore, two different articles can be produced – which increases flexibility even further!
Bekum will be offering a new 24“ multi-touch operating panel for the control system of our blow-moulding machines in future. We exploit the full-HD capability and have fully overhauled the graphics, increased the user-friendliness and used the extended panel area for new operating elements and status displays, such as ones for energy consumption and productivity, for example. In order to make operation simpler, we have considerably reduced the number of operating elements and relocated the axis control system in manual mode to a central operating element. The control system technology has also been updated, using TwinCat 3 from Beckhoff to make it state-of-the-art, while retaining the tried-and-tested operating concept.
Our packaging machines for consumer, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical packaging are optionally available as electric oder hydraulic single and double station machines for economic, round-the-clock production. Centrepieces of our packaging machines is the clamping unit feature a C-frame, which was developed and patented by our specialists, and the own produced extrusion system, with extruders and extrusion heads This exclusive technologies will reliably, flexibly and quickly solve your packaging assignments.
