The automotive sector makes very high demands of our machines of them all. They therefore need to guarantee high availability, a long service life and extremely high precision. To manufacture plastic fuel tanks, for example, we utilise 6-layer spiral distribution blow heads to achieve material savings and increases in productivity by means of shorter flushing and cleaning times. The spiral distribution technology allows perfectly distributed wall thicknesses and EVOH barriers to be manufactured reproducibly. The well-established clamping system with four clamping cylinders, and the master-slave control system, ensures an optimal distribution of the clamping force and exact seals on the tank. And the machine motions have also been optimised to ensure low energy requirements. A state-of-the-art touchscreen control system guarantees consistent quality assurance and process monitoring by the user-friendly and maintenance-friendly machinery concept.
